Attending events like Webcongress Latam is not just an opportunity to learn, but also to engage with some of the brightest minds in the industry. This year’s event in Bogotá, Colombia, was no exception. It was full of ideas, innovations, and inspiration, bringing together leaders from around the globe.

Why Events Like This Matter

Events like Webcongress aren’t just about sitting through presentations. They’re about growth, both personal and professional. Being around other like-minded individuals, sharing ideas, and learning from the best in the industry is invaluable. This year’s focus was on Artificial Intelligence (AI), a topic that’s becoming impossible to ignore. It’s evolving at an insane pace, and while none of us can say exactly where it’s heading, one thing is clear: AI is here to stay.

I had the chance to hear from some incredible speakers who reinforced just how important it is to adapt to these changes. One big takeaway? We need to embrace AI and use it to our advantage, both in our work and daily lives. Whether it’s speeding up content creation or enhancing our campaigns, AI tools are becoming essential. But here’s the kicker—AI is only as good as the data we give it. It’s still us, the humans, driving the ship, and our creativity, our emotions, and our instincts are irreplaceable.

Connecting with Great Minds

One of the best parts of Webcongress was meeting people who are not just leaders in their fields but also genuinely passionate about what they do. I was thrilled to connect with Ouali Benmeziane, the mastermind behind Webcongress, and Ryan Wang, who’s doing some seriously cool stuff with AI and frontier technologies. But meeting Sasha Strauss was something special. His approach to brand strategy blew me away, and I left our conversation feeling inspired and eager to stay in touch.

Key Takeaways from the Event

One of the most eye-opening sessions came from speakers representing Google and Meta. They demonstrated how both platforms have already integrated AI across their tools, allowing you to create campaigns from scratch, run them, and track their performance—all within the same ecosystem. But here’s the bottom line: creativity is king. While AI can handle the logistics, it’s our creative vision that truly makes a campaign stand out.

Another powerful moment was during a session with Belky, who emphasized the importance of taking action toward our dreams without fear of failure. She reminded us that AI, despite its capabilities, could never replace the human drive to pursue happiness, give back, and believe in ourselves. That inner motivation is what makes us human, and no tool, no matter how advanced, can replicate that.

If there’s one thing I took away from Webcongress, it’s the importance of continuing to grow and learn. As someone who’s been on both sides of the stage—listening and speaking—I know how crucial these experiences are. They push us to think differently, to innovate, and to keep evolving.
